RMDP - Rapid Microbial Detection Platform

In Indian food industry mostly conventional methods are adopted for the microbiological analysis which provides the result after a period of long time for the confirmation. After processing the food products are allowed to dispatch to the market before getting the results. Sometimes microbiological results of the products do not comply with the EU and/ or Indian standard in which case the safety of product and consumers is on stake.

To overcome such serious issues, Rapid Microbial Detection Platform or RMDP can be utilized which provide an immediate result i.e. within 15 min of the inoculation.
